In 1999 I went to several comedy shows at the International Comedy Festival in Melbourne, Australia. One of the shows I went to was the one of Tripod. This Australian comedy act is just so funny. The only stupid thing I did was sit in the front row with my favorite orange Dr. Martens. Oh boy, did those guys take the piss out of me during the show! But despite that I still love them…

Whenever I am in my car driving around I have their music blasting out of my stereo while I am singing along. When I first heard their song “Charmer” it just really cracked me up. One of my favorite Dutch bands in Within Temptation. The first time I got introduced to them was at the Pinkpop festival in Holland. I absolutely love the dresses that the singer is wearing. Wish I had them hanging my closet!

Here’s a little test for you! Did you know that your keyboard and mouse are some of the most germ-ridden devices you own? Apparently it’s even worse than doorknobs and toilet seats. I just got a new keyboard so hopefully it’s still germ-free, but I have to say that after this test I’ll be cleaning it every day.

As a lifeguard/swim instructor myself I have observed some funny (and not so funny) situations over the years. Unfortunately we have never had anyone like Mr. Bean in our swimming pool. It would have definitely made my day to have someone like him come and visit. Here is a hilarious video about Mr. Bean going to the swimming pool. I hope you will enjoy it as much as I do.
