Trace Numbers with Reverse Phone LookUp

Every month I check my phone bill to see if I have been charged with phone calls I didn’t make. I do this because a lot of times unknown phone numbers show up on my bill. Once I got charged for approximately 30 phone calls to a certain number. After checking the number it turned out that it connected with an answering machine in a foreign language. Fortunately I got a refund for all those phone calls, but ever since I always check every number on my phone bill.

Today I found out about a service that makes it easier to trace a phone number. The service is called TraceNumber.com. Tracenumber.com is like a reverse phone book; you type in the phone number that you want to trace and the owner ’s name & address, phone carrier, line type, zip code, city, state will show up as result.  This service is currently available for telephone and cellphone numbers in the United States and Canada. Very handy if you want to check what phone numbers show up on your phone bill.

But this service is not only handy if you want to check your phone bill. I have had missed calls on my cell phone that I don’t ring back because it is from an unknown number. Usually I don’t ring back if I don’t know the number, but now you can do a reverse phone look up to find out who it was. And how often have you had a phone call from an annoying telemarketer or a prankster? From now on you can find out who is calling!

The owner’s name and address is not always freely available for all cell phone or unlisted telephone numbers though. Sometimes the reverse phone look up charges you a fee to get such information. The good thing about this service is that your search stays 100% confidential. No one will be notified if you search for their phone number.
