Self made cards and invitations

One of the things I really like to get in the mail (apart from cheques) are party invitations. The other day my cousin from Holland send me a wedding invitation, but unfortunately I can not be there to witness the ceremony and the party afterward. The invitation was a self-made card with beautiful pictures of the lovely couple.

Self made invitations are my favorite types of cards. Hand made cards - no matter how simple - show to me that they have put in some extra time, maybe a bit of extra love and lots of effort to make them. It just makes them a little bit more special.

Since I can’t be there for the wedding I’m planning on making them a real nice wedding card. We have a warehouse in town where they sell real nice scrapping material for a very low price. I hope they will like the card.

I am very sure that your cousin will like the card that you made too. If they took some extra time and like you said, “maybe a bit of extra love and lots of effort to make them,” then they will understand too the love and effort and time you put into making the card for them :)
