Oriental secrets to a thin & healthy body
The weight loss industry is massive. Every year another diet is promising to help you lose weight, there are hundreds of different diet pills on the market and every year new exercise machines are invented that promise to help you lose weight almost overnight. Every now and then I might be tempted because like everyone else I’d love to lose weight overnight, but I know it’s impossible. You don’t gain weight overnight, so losing it overnight is and stays an illusion.
Last week I bought a very interesting book called ‘Oriental secrets to a thin & healthy body’ written by Dr. Stephen T. Chang. It has a total different approach than any other weight loss book. This book is based on the Tao of balanced diet. It talks about the different reasons why people gain weight, balanced diet, internal weight loss exercises and more. It’s been a real eye opener for me. I’ve learned that I am drinking way too much fluid for instance and now I’m trying to cut back to only 6 glasses a day (approximately 1,5 liter).
The book also has some very simple exercises to help you lose weight. The book is based on principles that have worked for 6000 years. And it is so simple! It has a huge section with recipes for a balanced diet according to the five elements and tastes. I defenitely recommend the book for people who want to lose weight.

It sounds like a winner. I think I’ll look for it in my local library.

I read a book about how tea could help you loose weight… It might be a good idea, never tried it as I am just trying to gain weight.
