Anzac Day
Today it is Anzac Day in Australia and New Zealand. During Anzac Day we remember the members of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) who landed at Gallipoli in Turkey during World War I. There are a lot of ceremonies through out the country and even in some places overseas.
Since it is a public holiday day we have a long weekend. Everything is closed and every one seems to have plans to get away for the weekend. Unfortunately my husband and me are going nowhere. Maybe, if hubby feels up to it we’re gonna play a game of poker up the coast tonight.
Other than that I’ll probably be surfing around the net to find some cool new blogs, drop a few extra Entrecards, finally file my paperwork (bank statements, life insurance papers, letters from lawyers, etc.) into different folders, and do some housework.
Have you got any plans for the weekend?

I look fwd to the holidays on Anzac and Boxing Day in Australia when I was a student. It’s just hanging out with a group of frens and doing fun stuff.
I spent 2 years in Adelaide and have visited most parts of Australia except Perth, Tasmania and Northen part.
Would like to visit Perth in the future.
