Speed radars in containers
There is nothing more I hate than when I am riding on the road and I notice that the police are hiding somewhere behind a bush or fence and pointing their speed radar on car drivers.
Just the other day they were hiding behind a kiosk at the bus stop and quickly jumping in front of a car when they could print another speed ticket. Of course I hate it when people are speeding, but sometimes it makes you wonder if the coppers don’t have anything better to do; like solving crimes!
I just read an article in a Dutch newspaper that in Belgium they are now hiding their speed radars in containers. Yes, those containers where you and me are throwing our trash in. The ones we put beside the road once a week to be emptied by a garbage truck. How sneaky is that? The Belgian police reckon that they are more practical than police cars. I don’t think they are more practical, I just think that they are not as noticeable and that it will help to royally boost their income!
So, if you are cruising in your class A motorhome, motorbike, car or truck you want to look out for containers in unusual places or for containers beside the road on days the garbage truck is NOT coming.

Hehe, that’s pretty smart… but I sure hope U.S. doesn’t copy that!

Vandalize streetcorner and other cameras wherever you find them. They are a mechanism of oppression and have very little to do with preventing people from speeding.
