The good and the bad
The Superbike and Supersport races at Philip Island this weekend were awesome. I was hoping (and kind of expecting) an Aussie domination and it was an Aussie domination indeed. My favorite Superbike rider Troy Bayliss - who was riding with 8 stitches in his elbow - won the first and the second Superbike race and is leading the championship now. Troy Corser was second in race one.
The Supersport race was dominated by the Aussies as well. Andrew Pitt on the Dutch Ten Kate Honda bike won the race in front of Aussie Joshua Brooks. Unfortunately Dutch rider Barry Veneman got a drive-through penalty for a jump start. All in all it were exciting races to watch and I am just plain happy that Sunday are interesting again.
The bad thing this weekend was that we missed UFC82. When we rang Foxtel to order the pay-per-view we got told that we could not order it. In fact we got told to order it three days in advance. What bullsh*t is that? We’ve never ordered it three days in advance, always on the day itself and never had a problem with it. I was so disappointed!
