Britney mania
Are you also sick of the Britney Spears mania?
Why is that everyone loves it so much when a celebrity falls apart? I really don’t care if Britney was seen again with or without underwear, I don’t care if Britney got herself another Starbucks coffee, I really don’t care if Britney went somewhere to rehearse her dance moves, etc.
It seem like every move she makes is important enough to post in every freaking celebrity magazine, on celebrity websites and even newspapers. Are we really so shallow that we need to know that sort of stuff? Why not pay a bit more attention to stuff that really matters in the world?

Maybe it’s the same sensibility that makes people want to rubberneck at bad traffic accidents.
Or Schadenfreude.

You konw people don’t care unless the celebritie are spirling into an abyss. Then that means they have normal lives with nothing happening.

I couldn’t agree more.. I saw something about her on cnn.com a few months ago and I wondered just what news was coming to when that’s what really matters? Ugh!

The reason that ANY body cares about this stupid stuff is — MONEY. If no one bought a gossip rag, a CD, a ticket to a concert, the stuff “celebs” endorse or went online to the sites that promote them, watched the “entertainment” shows, or just plain didn’t give a rats behind, we wouldn’t have this problem of people making a living by trying to catch a peek of some young woman’s lady parts AND take a picture of them!!!!!! Wonder what that photographer tells his kids, parents or preacher that he does for a living, better yet what’s he going to tell God? “Oh, and about that thing with taking pictures of someones lady parts — well the money was good and so what if I did it without her knowing and yea, you’re right God, I don’t think I should have, but THE MONEY was soooooooooo good.”
Let’s all redefine the meaning of happiness and success, please believe me when I tell you it has NOTHING to do with celebs.
Thanks for letting me get that off my chest.

have you heard about the bill that was passed named as Britney Law? it’s aim is to protect celebs/patients/famous people from being harrassed by the paparazzi. before press people can go inside any hospitals/rehab centers, they have to get passes or permission.
Britney is getting more famous by the minute, by the hour. i just hope little girls won’t see rebelliousness and being spoiled brats as something fun to do.
