7 Kids at age 16
Yesterday I was reading my favorite Dutch newspaper online when my eyes got drawn to a headline about a 16 year old girl who was expecting triplets… for the second time. I thought that was pretty amazing until I read the rest of the article.
This Argentinian girl already had a miscarriage, a son and triplets at the age of 14. Already 4 kids at the age of 14. When I was 14 I wasn’t even thinking about guys yet. I was too busy playing waterpolo, getting good grades in high school and getting into rock and punk music. And now, at age 16 this girl is expecting triplets again. Imagine having to take care of 7 kids. And she has to do it at the age of 16 years old.
Have they never heard of birth control in Argentina?

I am surprised she gave birth to four kids. She is a child and her body is not ready to pop out so many children . Their is a high rate of miscarriage among teenage mothers. I can only imagine her health problems, not to mention caring for so many kids at such a young age.

WoW This poor girl is going to have her hands full. Just think, all of them are going to be teenagers at the same time.

Heck that happens here in the states too. I can only ascribe it to the parents not talking to their children. I mean what else could it be? Then again one of our 16 y/o patients is pregnant with twins and we asked her and she had no good answer. Sooo…

That means she was sexually active at the age of 13 or even younger. Wow… I’m so glad I don’t have kids when I read things like this.

Even more, the father of all 7 kids is 24, which means that at 21 he had sex with a 13 year old girl, producing a child. He also has 2 more kids from a previous relationship (thats 9 kids at 24!)
I’m 24 now and can’t imagine devoting the rest of my life to a child at this point. Sounds like this guy needs to keep it in his pants.

My mom had me, her 3rd child at 16! She had another child 11 months later. 4 kids before she was 18. Dad was 22 by the time we were all born. Mom quit school to raise us. She did go on to get her masters degree later in life. She now teaches high school and all of us kids are in our 40’s. We all kind of grew up together! It all depends on how you handle it!

wow that is messed up and what did they do to the father? i had my frist born at 16. but i didnt know to much about the facts at that time and the boy i was with took advantge of the fact i was so nieve at the time.
