Every time I come back from the gym I drive pass a new block with shops and companies. I noticed that one of the shops was a vintage shop. The proceedings of the shop go to a charity for people with disabilities. I love vintage shops, so today I finally decided to check out the shop. The shop is massive! It has lots of great stuff like women’s fashion, men’s fashion, kids fashion, books, furniture, surf and sports clothes, new sunglasses, brick and brack, manchester and much more.
I saw some books I liked, but since I still have so many books at home that I haven’t read yet I decided against buying new ones. I did however buy an awesome Lorna Jane sports top. It was brand new and still had the tags on it. The retail prize is $44.99 but I bought it for only $7. What a great deal that was! They had a lot of great stuff from Billabong as well, but it wasn’t in my size unfortunately.
I’ll be definitely coming back to that shop on a more regular basis!

Yesterday I got an early wedding day present (almost a month early); an iPod Shuffle. I started to get sick of always hearing the same music over and over again in the gym. Rianna, Soulja Boy, Timbaland, Fergie, etc. All music that I… well, let’s say it in a nice way; music that I really don’t like.
So I was thinking about getting an Ipod, but since our budget isn’t the best it stayed with thinking about it. That was until we found out that K-Mart had them on special for only AUS$64 instead of AUS$98. So my sweet hubby decided that it would be an early wedding day present.
So yesterday I downloaded the iTunes program (which took a couple of hours to download thanks to my dail up connection) and was so busy importing cd’s and filling up my iPod that I totally forgot to blog.
Anyway, today I finally had some decent music to listen to in the gym. Let me tell you that working out on Foo Fighters, Metallica and that sort of music really psychs me up. So today I had a nice hard work out. I love my iPod.
What music do you listen to when you work out?
