Page Rank Drop
I was just browsing through the Digital Point Forums when I saw that some people were noticing different PR rank in different DC’s. So I thought it was time to check my sites to see if there were any changes. Almost all of my sites showed no changes, except for this blog.
It looks like my Page Rank is going to drop from a PR3 to a PR2. It was predicted to become a PR4, but now it looks like that will not happen. Google seems to be penalizing websites that sell or buy links. In my case it must be the sponsored posts that don’t go down to well with Google. You can check the PR of all the DC’s here.

Same for me I’m afraid. It was only a month or so ago that cymru66.com was predicted to become a PR5. Now it looks like I’m heading for a PR2. Funny old world isn’t it?

I don’t worry too much about PR and it is definitely not going to stop from making a couple of extra bucks. It’s just a shame a lot of programs use PR to define how much money you should earn. Somehow I think we will see a change in that though. PPP is already going to use a different ranking system that is not based on PR and I think others might follow.
