Not long ago I entered a contest to have a chance at winning the book The Secret by Rhonda Byrne. I heard about the documentary and book when I watched the Oprah show and I really wanted to read the book. Unfortunately I didn’t win the book.

Today I had to make an appointment with the fysiotherapist and after that I ducked into a little hippie shop to have a look around. I don’t know why I went into the shop, but I always like to act on impulses. Experience has proved me that it’s better to listen to my intuition. Anyway to make a long story short I ended up with The Secret in my hands.

Since we are a bit skinned at the moment I almost put the book back when I saw the prize, but something stopped me from doing that. As soon as I got home I started reading the book and didn’t stop until I finished it.

The book has such a powerful message and I guess it’s time for me to listen to that message and change my life around. The fun thing was that when I opened my Google Reader today I saw two different blogs who wrote about that book. That can’t be a coincidence.
