Digital photography is so much fun
One of my hobbies is photography. It all started when my dad gave me his old Pentax SLR camera with a converter and a 300 mm lens to take pictures at the Dutch TT in Assen. The results were amazing. I started to take more pictures and my collection of SLR cameras and lenses slowly expanded.
Last year I signed up for a photography course to learn to take better photos and get a diploma in photography. That’s when I decided that it was time for a digital SLR camera and bought a Pentax *istD L. The thing is that whenever you buy a camera that it doesn’t take long before a newer and better camera comes on the market. I already have my eye on the Nikon D300; the features of this camera are simply great. I am going to have to save up for it.
Digital camera’s have so many advantages over the regular camera’s; you can see the result immediately on the LCD Screen, photo’s you do not like can be deleted straight away, the photo’s are easily transported on to your computer, the photo’s are easy to enhance or manipulate, etc.
Digital photography gives me more control over the end result of the photos. I even bought a small Canon Powershot A430 camera that I take with me everywhere. By carrying a small digital camera in your handbag you will never miss a great family snapshot, a sport event, milestone or just something funny that happened during your day.
Do you have a digital camera and if so what do you use it for?

I also love photography and it’s one of my hobbies as well. Wherever I go, I look out for a picture perfect moment.
I can’t afford a big fancy digital camera that’ll take professional pictures, but I still have a pretty good one anyway.
It’s a Sony Cybershot, and it’s decent. Once I can afford one, I’m going to buy a great, professional camera and a camcorder too, because I also love recording.

A camcorder is cool as well. My parents gave me one years ago when I went on a working holiday for a year. But personally I prefer a camera. I think it’s an art to tell a whole story with just one picture
