The plugin only automatically upgrades your wordpress if you MANUALLY activate it to do so. So it will NOT automatically upgrade your blog whenever a new version/upgrade comes out.

And maybe you do not like the plugin, but there are a lot of people who do not know how to manually upgrade their wordpress. This plugin is perfect for them.

I have nothing against the guy who wrote the WPAU plugin. He probably did a good job. But let me tell you that this is the plugin you dont want to have. Trust me.

The plugin might be written very well. But for any serious blog, you don’t want an automatic upgrade. What you want is when a new release is made by WP, you want to test it for a few days on some other test version of your blogs. and When you are absolutely sure, that the new release has no issues, only then you want to upgrade.

A wrote a few things in Run Test Site of your WordPress Blog. this might help.

The rest of the plugins are good.
