Yes, I am moving a part of my blog to another domain… When I started this blog it was my intention to make an online journal of how my websites were progressing, how I made money online, what worked for me, what didn’t, earnings reports, etc. The plan was to update it mainly for myself so I could look back and see how I could improve things.

Since I was planning on doing it mainly for myself I decided to put it on a domain name that I had once registered for a totally different purpose and had never used. This was a big mistake! The blog started to attract visitors and people started to mistake my name for Elizabeth Rose. I could not blame them, the domain name had nothing to with my name or with the topic of this blog.

Fact is that the domain name annoys me, so finally after a couple of months I decided to do something about it. I have registered the domain name FreeCashQuest.com. I have moved a whole bunch of posts from this blog to Free Cash Quest. I decided to leave a lot of posts here. I want to make a bit of a new start with Free Cash Quest. It doesn’t mean I am going to abandon this blog.

Is it a smart move? Yes and No. I think the new domain name is much better than Elizabeth-Rose.info. Free Cash Quest explains much better what my blog is about; ways to obtain free cash. This can be online as well as offline. It is easier to remember than this domain name.

The downside is that the new domain does not have a page rank or Alexa rank, it is something I am gonna have to work on. This blog on the other hand is PR3, has an alright Alexa rank and is predicted to become a PR5 (the PR prediction tool is never 100% accurate though). We all know that the higher your PR is, the more money you can make. The new domain does not meet the requirements for all the get paid to blog companies and it will be a lot harder to sell text links.

Like I said before; I have only moved certain posts from this blog to the other domain. The reason why I have done this is so I can keep this blog going and still meet the requirements of all the get paid to blog companies. By continuing to blog on this domain I can still make money online. The blog posts will be from now just a bit more personal.
