Great post, just out of curiosity have you known anyone to be able to do this full time?

I don’t know if you could make this a full time job. It depends on how many uploads you do and how popular your images are I guess. You get paid by the download. I am sure there are more sites like Istockphoto, so if you sign up with more sites and upload heaps of stuff, you might get a nice income.

I use iStock for some photos. They have excellent quality. I usually just stock up on the free ones that they send out every week. One year = 52 free high-quality photos!
I think pro photographers could use it as a lucrative part-time income.
