Royalty Free Stock Images

The answer is simple; I get my images from royalty free stock websites. There are some great websites on the internet where you can find royalty free stock photo’s for your blog. Some of them are free and some charge you a small fee.

One of my favorite stock photo sites is Istockphoto. Istockphoto has an enormous archive with images of just about any topic. For a small fee you can pick up some real nice images. The banner for my site (the one with the roses) is an illustration that I bought from Istockphoto for only $1. They always have a Free Image of the Week, so be sure to check this site out.

A great website for free stock images is MorgueFile. This site is a place where photographers (and amateurs) share images with the rest of the world. It is totally free and you get the chance to comment on the images. This is a site I often browse as you have some beautiful images here.

Another great website for free stock images is Stock.Xchng. Like MorgueFile, this site is a place where you can choose from heaps of images from photographers around the world who share their pictures. I have used a lot of images from this site on my blog. The pictures are free of use.

I am sure there heaps more royalty free stock websites, just go to a search engine and type it in. You will get a big list with results!

Photoshop Images

One of my hobbies is to ‘photoshop’. I love manipulating images or do some digital scrapbooking. My brother once gave me the Adobe Photoshop program and since I didn’t had any knowledge of the program I simply started to play around with it. Nowadays you can find heaps of good photoshop tutorials on the internet.

On the internet you can find heaps of great brushes, patterns and textures for photoshop. One of my favorite sites is Brusheezy, where you can find heaps of the most beautiful brushes for Photoshop.

If you are after free vectors, you might want to take a look at Vecteezy. You will find the most beautiful vectors on this site.

I am sure there are plenty of other sites on the internet that can help you with free images for your blog or that help you create beautiful images for your blog.

Just search on the internet, like I do. Just make sure you read the terms of use.
