My blogger blog classified as spam!
I have a free blog about one of my favorite sports hosted by blogger. As I was about to update my blog with the latest news I got the following message.
“This blog has been locked by Blogger’s spam-prevention robots”
My first reaction was WTF? My blog spam? You will not find one affiliate link on the blog, the only way it’s monetized is by Google Adsense. It is not a MFA blog, it is a blog that is written with lots of passion and love for the sport. It has all the latest news, results and more. It’s got me stuffed about how anyone can see this as spam!
I have asked for a review of my blog in the hope that blogger unlocks it, but at the moment I’m not sure if I want to continue having a blog hosted by a provider that comes up with such BS. There are plenty of blogs that are absolutely crap and solely made with the idea to spam. Fair enough if they get locked, but to lock a sports blog that actually provides good information is very strange!
Anyone with a blogger blog had this happen to them?

Well……… The only “words of wisdom” I have to offer are raise a sh1t storm with blogger support. and threaten to curse their bot with the fleas of a thousand camels/ I went through it withthem about a year ago. Thier handling was to captha my posts. Better than just deleting or locking the blog entirely i suppose. In any event Stay upbeat and positive, and most of all have fun with blogger support theyre a bunch of characters I tell ya.

The other thing that blogger is prone to do is close a complete account, and take ALL of the blogs on that account down! Had that done once, and arguing with the Big G zealots made not one iota of difference!
The only advice is therefore have no more than five or six blogger blogs on any one account, so that when they decide you’re spamming, and close the account, you don’t lose everything!

Oh.. that’s not vey nice of them to close the complete account down! Why would they do that? Just goes to show that it’s better to have your own domain and hosting!

[...] Previously I wrote that my blogger blog was classified as spam. I could not believe it, you pour your heart and soul into something and it gets qualified as SPAM! [...]
