I agree that it makes the ad stand out from others and I’m sure it can be very effective. Maybe it’s a personal thing that I really don’t like the way they approach people.

I’ve got his e-book, and in it, he refers to this type of advertising as antimarketing.

In reality, it’s more effective. Think about if you see 3 text ads, and one is slightly insulting/controversial, which one would you be the most interested in clicking?

I don’t know I have never bought anything from an insulting ad but they make me laugh and it makes your brand stand out doesn’t it?
