Adbux - Too good to be true?

I recently signed up for Adbux. I heard many good stories about it, so I decided to check it out. Just to see if it is really as good as they claim.

Adbux is a program where you make money by clicking on surf ads. You have to view these ads for 30 seconds and you get 1 cent awarded to your account. The referral system is the best you can get: 100% from your referrals. The pay out is $5 in your PayPal account.

Usually when a program sounds that good I wonder if it’s too good to be true. When it sounds too good to be true, it usually is! So is Adbux a scam? Here are my personal experiences…

Every time I check there are about 10 ads available. Maybe if you are in a different timezone you might be lucky and get more, I don’t really know. So I make about 10 cents a day. That’s not much, but if you get a bunch of referrals under you it gets more interesting. I know for a fact that at least 1 person has signed up under me, but somehow the referral is not showing (nor do I get rewarded for him).

If you want you can buy referrals at the site, but they are a bit pricey. According to the site owners that is because they are in high demand. The more demand, the higher the price. I’m not sure if it’s worth it and I would certainly not pay the price they’re asking.

Every now and then I visit the Get Paid Forums and I recommend this site to anyone who is interested in all sorts of Get Paid To programs. You can learn a lot, which programs are good, which aren’t and you can use their Downline Builders. And on this forum I found an interesting post called Adbux Caution. An interesting read in case you are a member or think about joining up. This way you can form your own opinion.

One thing I would like to point out is their TOS: We have the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, for any reason and without warning or notice. If we decide to give a notice, we will notify you by e-mail.

Ouch!!! That doesn’t sound too good, does it? They can ban you anytime they want, for any reason they want!

Is it a scam? I can’t give you that answer. They claim to have paid members. For myself I’ll have to wait and see until I reach my $5 pay out (which might take a while). If you are a member of Adbux and got paid, please leave a comment. I’m very interested in your experiences.
