List of free directories
Directories are a good way to increase the back links to your site. There are many directories where you have to pay, but fortunately for us there are still plenty of free directories. I have made a list of free directories with their page rank that are worth submitting your site to.

Great list! I’ll be visiting thosse and submit my site, it’s always good to have quality one-way links to your site. Would you happen to know any .edu or .gov where you can list your blog or something? i’m wondering if that would be really effective, i read about it somewhere, someone mentionned getitng links back from edu/gov was good (and not easy). What do you think?

At this moment I don’t know any .edu or .gov directories, but if I find them I will add them to the list. I heard that they are considered more trusted, but I’m not sure.

One small note open-site posses as an encyclopia… is that right? How should one get listed there?
